A graduate of the Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Fazeli did his Dermatology residency at Harvard Medical School’s Department of Dermatology where he completed his training in medical, pediatric and surgical Dermatology. He received his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Dr. Fazeli brings a world class perspective to his field having trained in the many of the most prestigious healthcare institutions in the United States, including Departments of Dermatology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston Children’s Hospital, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital and the Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
An innovator and leader in new techniques and procedures, Dr. Fazeli has completed an ACGME-approved Laser and Cosmetic Fellowship in the Skin Laser and Surgery Center of New York/New Jersey under the direction of world-renowned cosmetic surgeon Dr. David J. Goldberg. During Dr. Fazeli’s Fellowship, he was trained in hair restoration and hair transplantation by one of the most renowned hair transplantation surgeons in the world in Manhattan, New York, Dr. Marc Avram.
Dr. Fazeli has completed a Mohs College-approved and ACGME-Approved fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology under the direction of Dr. Goldberg in New York.
He also holds a doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on the genetic causes of cancer. Dr. Fazeli has completed over 10,000 Mohs surgeries to remove skin cancers at his surgical suite in Fayetteville, NY near Syracuse.
Widely published, Dr. Fazeli is a respected authority in the fields of Dermatology and Skin Cancer, contributing articles to the New England Journal of Medicine, Archives of Dermatology and the Journals Nature and Cell. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.
