Dr. Broumand graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine Alpha Omega Alpha (top of her class). She also completed an internal medicine residency at Yale University School of Medicine and a research fellowship in nephrology at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham & Women’s Hospital and has focused on the skin manifestations of internal medicine and human disease for the past fourteen years. She has published her investigations in several medical journals including the American Journal of Physiology.
